Mission
To train Bioprocess Engineers qualified to analyze fundamental biological processes with skills to develop, operate, and optimize processes that allow obtaining biotechnological products and services at commercial scale for the benefit of productive and social sectors at local, regional, and global levels; with an entrepreneurial drive as agents of change in society, promoting the creation or development of biotechnological enterprises and caring for the environment with an ethical and socially responsible attitude.
Vision
The Bioprocess Engineering program is recognized as socially responsible and for its quality in biotechnology, according to national and international evaluation standards, training high-level human resources to assist in scientific and technological developments, with a multidisciplinary approach to the specific needs of social, productive, or service sectors in local, regional, and global contexts.
